I really enjoyed reading this story. Noelle is a sassy private detective who stands her ground with the guys. You also meet Drake Nash an officer who has a love hate relationship with Noelle. You can feel the chemistry between them every time they are in the same room.
I really loved meeting Noelle’s family in this read also. They add some element to her character and the story. Loved Nonna even though she was a little pushy about the marriage thing.
As you read you can’t help but try to figure out who the killer is. Noelle ends up stuck right in the middle of Drakes investigation. Will Noelle put herself in danger? Will Drake be able to protect her? Or will they both finally work together to find the killer?
I shudder at the memory of his mouth on mine and his body over mine and his hands splaying across my skin and ….
This is a great new series by Emma Hart. You will enjoy Twisted Bond if you like humor, mystery and sassiness. There is no cliffhanger however, the story continues into the next book.
