After rediscovering my intense love for reading, I decided to start Itsy Bitsy Book Bits in the hope of connecting readers and authors. With the help of social media I’ve been able to actually get to know some authors. It’s not like the old days where it was just a name on a book and you didn’t realize they were real people.
As I’ve gotten to know some of these amazing authors, I’ve begun to learn just how much time, effort, work, and heart goes into creating a book that readers can enjoy. I want to be a part of that journey and a part of helping to get the word out about all authors, but especially new authors and Indie authors.
I want authors to have a place where their book can be read, reviewed, enjoyed, shared and promoted with integrity, honesty, and passion from one of our 40 ( YES 40) reviewers. A place where readers can visit to find their next great story. A place where authors and readers connect and share their mutual passion for stories of all kinds. We also have an ever growing Facebook Page with over 9,300 fans.

Our Review Policy
Here at Itsy Bitsy Book Bits, we do our best to review each book and give constructive comments when needed. We understand how hard authors work and that their books are a piece of themselves they have chosen to share with us. We understand that we all have different tastes and what one of us enjoy the next person may not. In the interest of always putting the author first, we only assign our reviewers books in the genre’s they have come to enjoy. We have also made the decision not to write reviews that are lower than 3 stars, so if we feel that we are unable to give at least 3 stars we will notify the author immediately. We would not want to deter others from enjoying the book because we didn’t. Below is our scale:
Review Scale
5- Stars- OMG OMG OMG
4 – Stars – Very Good/Liked It
3 – Stars – It was ok
2 – Stars – Didn’t Like it
1- Stars – Hated It
