Mystic Park by Regina Hart, is book #4 in the Finding Home series of books. This book is a very steamy, sexy romance, and it’s sure to get your heart racing!! Mystic Park tells the story of Vaughn Brooks and Benita Hawkins, who have been together since high school, but they’ve hit a crossroads in their relationship. Vaughn is a professor at the local Trinity Falls University, and Benita is a talent manager living in Los Angeles. Trinity Falls, Ohio, is where they both grew up, and Benita usually only comes back to visit for a few days a year. This time, she’s in town for 3 months to visit her Great Aunt who is being honored by the university where she taught for many years. Benita is going to try to use those months to convince Vaughn to join her in Los Angeles, where his musical talents can be realized to their potential. Benita believes that her life is better in Los Angeles, but Vaughn thinks that the only way they can stay together is for her to move back to Trinity Falls. They both have to decide how to compromise and try to figure out if they’re better off apart or together. Another couple in town is also struggling with their relationship: Doreen and Alonzo are engaged to be married in just a couple of months, but Doreen can tell that something is bothering Alonzo, and until he can confide in her, she wonders if she can go ahead with the wedding. In the book, the devotion that Vaughn and Benita feel for each other is very evident; you can feel the steam rise when they’re together on the pages of the book! I have not read the other books in this series, and although I was missing some back stories on other characters, it didn’t detract from the story in this book. If you’re looking for a hot romance, look no further! This is the book for you!!
