~ Review – Fade to Red by Willow Aster

Fade to RedFade to Red by Willow Aster

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fade to Red by Willow Aster was another 4 start read! Perfect mix of everything and even with it being a stand alone…some of her other well-known characters from True Love Story were in here. That is right, more Ian and Sparrow! In fact part of the story is told in Ian’s POV. It was so nice to be able to see how their lives have turned out and watch as they move forward into the spotlight with some wonderful new people.

In the story, Beckham Wood is about to start touring and is wanting back up dancers and another star to perform with him. Enter the Sterlings. Sparrow is now married to Ian and together they have a baby girl, Journey. Ian is moving up in the world and Beckham wants him to join the tour, which clearly Ian can’t say no to such a huge new adventure. Now Beckham just needs some dancers. During try outs Beckham seeing Roxie Taylor who he can’t take his eyes off of and demands she is one of his dancers. But she doesn’t just have looks..she is amazing and the choreographer plan to use her in some of the songs with just her and Beckham dancing together.

As the two become closer the twisted mysteries of the story start to unfold. Roxie is hiding a secret from Beckham and everyone else…and it involves her adorable son, Leo. The past is pushed out into the open for everyone to see. This really pushes a stalker hidden among the tour to the light. We get little dips inside Beckham’s stalker’s head, showing us how she has been made into what she is today.

As the past and the truth comes to the light, will the new fund love between Beckham and Roxie be pulled apart? The truth can be ugly even if it can set a person free. And the past holds the key to unlocking so many secrets and clues that can save people. Will the new group of friends be able to take on someone who lives in her own messed up head and seem to have no fear of hurting someone to get to her ultimate goal: Beckham?

A must read adventure that takes you backstage with some hot rockers, dancers, and the extreme stalker.
